One of two originals I released during my month of covers, this song was written as a first birthday present for my surrogate nephew, the son of my best friend. He was named after the brightest star in Orion, so I wrote him a little lullaby about the stars.

This is part of my MayCovers project: in May of 2016, I recorded and shared a cover song every day for a month, resulting in the release of 28 covers and two originals. This album features 12 of the best recordings from that experiment.
