Molly and I share the distinction of being Seattle Ukuleleists Who Experienced Nickel Creek At A Musically-Formative Age, so I was delighted that she was able to join me in covering this excellent Sara Watkins tune for this project. This is a different take than I released for the actual project -- that one was a little more lively, and included a lot of interrupting-cat-related giggles. I thought a more technically accurate version was appropriate for the album release.

This song is part of my MayCovers project: in May of 2016, I recorded and shared a cover song every day for a month, resulting in the release of 28 covers and two originals. This album features 11 of the best recordings from that experiment.
